Statesman Journal: Salem teen charged with hit and run after crash sends two people to hospital
From the Statesman Journal:
"Two people were sent to the hospital after deputies from Marion County Sheriff's Office responded to a crash involving several vehicles near Elma Avenue SE and Mahrt Avenue SE around 4:51 a.m. Saturday.
A black Ford Explorer was traveling in a reckless manner east on Mahrt Avenue SE and collided with a black Toyota along with two parked cars.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office CRASH Team is currently working to determine the Explorer's speed.
The driver of the Explorer was a 16-year-old male from Salem who is being held at the Marion County Juvenile Detention Center on Assault 2, Reckless Driving and Felony Hit and Run charges."
